The Fly Tap is a 3D-printed dispensing cap designed to make feeding from fruit fly cultures quicker, cleaner, and much less chaotic.
Installed directly into the culture lid, The Fly Tap creates a smaller, controlled opening so you can dispense fruit flies without removing the entire lid. Shake or tap out the amount you need, then simply screw the cap closed again.
It’s especially useful for jumping spider and invertebrate keepers who regularly use fruit flies — and even more useful for breeders maintaining multiple cultures at once.

Installation
The Fly Tap includes two mounting pieces that sandwich the culture lid — one above and one below — plus the removable screw-on cap.
The upper and lower mounting pieces twist together through the opening in the lid.
For the most secure installation, we recommend adding a small amount of hot glue between the two mounting pieces before twisting them together around the lid. This helps prevent the dispenser from loosening during repeated use.
Allow the hot glue to cool completely before placing the lid onto an active fruit fly culture.
